This workshop focuses on the craft of fiction writing in order to develop skills in story writing or novel writing. Particular focus will be on completing a full narrative arc, developing believable characters, and building a meaningful setting about and for the Virgin Islands. Students will be asked to attend all workshop dates, and students who do complete all dates will meet with Prof. Yanique for a one-on-one conference to include professional aspects such as polishing and publishing.
